MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 15, 1978 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Vernon S. Evans at <br />5:02 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />Council members present were Harry K. Yamamoto, John Garthe, <br />David L. Brandt, Gordon Bricken, James E. Ward and Mayor <br />Evans. Councilman David F. Ortiz was absent. The following <br />members of Staff were also present: City Manager Bruce C. <br />Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, Community Redevelopment <br />Director Richard C. Goblirsch, and Assistant Clerk of the <br />Council Patricia E. Rice. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag, <br />the Invocation was given <br />by Councilman Brandt. <br /> <br />SOUTH COAST TOWN CENTER DEVELOPMENT <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT <br />RESCINDED ACTION TO DIRECT CITY <br /> <br />ATTORNEY TO FILE ACTION TO <br />CHALLENGE EIR AS INSUFFICIENT <br /> <br />City Attorney to file <br />Impact Report for the <br />City of Costa Mesa as <br /> <br />On the motion of Council- <br />man Brandt, seconded by <br />Councilman Garthe, carried <br />6:0 unanimously, Council <br />action taken at its March '13, <br />1978 meeting directing the <br />legal action to challenge the Environmental <br />South Coast Town Center Development in the <br />insufficient, was rescinded.
