National Electrical Code, 197S Edition, with the 56 amendments <br />previously approved by the City Council on May 15, 1978, and <br />the 11 additional amendments recommended by Staff in the report <br />prepared by Fire Chief B. J. Thompson, dated May 24, 1978, <br />carried S:2, with Councilmen Ward and Bricken dissenting. <br /> CA 87 <br />J. Ogden Markel, 1814 South Parton, stated that he did not feel <br />the amendments proposed to the 1975 Edition of the National <br />Electrical Code were necessary. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-58 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />BUILDING CODE FEES COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ADOPTED SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING <br /> AND REGULATING FEES AND <br />CHARGES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF CHAPTER 8 OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE (BUILDING CODE FEES) was adopted <br />by a 6:1 vote, with Mayor Evans dissenting, on the motion of <br />Councilman Garthe, seconded by Councilman Brandt.
