<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84- 6 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the <br />City of Santa Ana has prepared an Initial Study of the environ- <br />mental impact of the proposed agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered the <br />above said Initial Study and the final Environmental Impact <br />Report for the Santa Ana Redevelopment Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Initial Study conforms to the require- <br />ments of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 <br />(Public Resources Code, Section 21000 et ~) the nGuidelines <br />for the Implementation of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act of 1970,n as amended, adopted by the Secretary for Resources <br />of the State of California, and the procedures for implementation <br />of the Environmental Quality of 1970 adopted by the Agency; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Agency has considered all the terms and conditions <br />of the proposed sale and hereby finds and determines that the <br />redevelopment of the Property pursuant to the said Agreement is <br />in the best interest of the city and the health, safety and welfare <br />of its residents, and is in accord with the public purposes and <br />provisions of the applicable state and local laws. <br /> <br />2. The said Agreement is hereby approved, and the Chair- <br />man of the Agency is hereby authorized to execute the said <br />Agreement and the Grant Deed pertaining thereto. <br /> <br />3. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to take all <br />steps and to sign all documents and instruments necessary to <br />implement and carry out the said Agreement on behalf of the Agency, <br />including, but not limited to, the acquisition of real property as <br />appropriate for the installation of the off-site improvements for <br />which Agency is responsible under the said Agreement. <br /> <br />4. The Agency finds and determines that the Environmental <br />Impact Report (E.I.R.) prepared for the Santa Ana Redevelopment <br />Project is adequate for approval of the said Agreement, and that <br />preparation of an additional environmental impact report is not <br />necessary for the following reasons: <br /> <br />(a) Implementation of the Agreement does not represent <br />any change in the Redevelopment Project, nor does it involve any <br />new significant environmental impacts other than those considered <br />in the Redevelopment Project Environmental Impact Report. <br /> <br />/3 <br /> <br />SA <br />
