<br />.¡ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />"." <br /> <br />REL:adg <br />4/3/85 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85-14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCi:"," OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING <br />THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE <br />AGENCY TO APPROVE RELOCATION <br />PAYMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the course of its activities in implementa- <br />tion of the several redevelopment plans of the City of Santa Ana, <br />the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana fre- <br />quently enters into agreements with developers by which the Agency <br />obligates itself to acquire land and convey it free of all pos- <br />sessory interests, or otherwise authorizes the acquisition and <br />clearance of land for future development¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such activities frequently obligate the Agency <br />to make payments to the current occupants of such land as reim- <br />bursement for relocation expenses in accordance with State or, <br />when applicable, federal laws and regulations¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for each such activity, this Agency approves a <br />budget of estimated expenses, including an allotment for reloca- <br />tion expenses¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to promote the expeditious clearance <br />of redevelopment sites, it is necessary that relocation payments <br />be made promptly upon determination of the appropriate amount¡ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelop- <br />ment Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Executive Director of the Agency is authorized to <br />determine the appropriate amount of relocation payments due to <br />any person or entity pursuant to applicable state or federal laws <br />and regulations because of Agency activities and to approve pay- <br />ment of the same. <br />
