<br />. <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86- 44 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City <br />of Santa Ana has prepared an Initial Study of the environmental <br />impact of the proposed agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered the <br />abovesaid Initial Study and the final Environmental Impact <br />Report for the Redevelopment Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Initial Study conforms to the requirements <br />of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (Public <br />Resources Code, Section 21000 et ~.), the Guidelines for <br />the Implementation of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act of 1970., as amended, adopted by the Secretary for <br />Resources of the State of California, and the procedures for <br />implementation of the Environmental Quality Act of 1970 <br />adopted by the Agency; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Agency has considered all the terms and conditions <br />of the proposed lease and sale and hereby finds and determines <br />that the redevelopment of the Property pursuant to the said <br />Agreement is in the best interest of the City and the health, <br />safety and welfare of its residents, and is in acord with the <br />public purposes and provisions of the applicable state and <br />local laws. <br /> <br />2. The said Agreement is hereby approved, and the <br />Chairman of the Agency is hereby authorized to execute the <br />said Agreement. <br /> <br />3. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to take <br />all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments necessary <br />to implement and carry out the said Agreement on behalf of <br />the Agency. <br /> <br />4. The Agency finds and determines that the Environmental <br />Impact Report (E.I.R.) prepared for the South Main Street Re- <br />development Project is adequate for approval of the said <br />Agreement, and that preparation of an additional Environmental <br />Impact Report is not necessary for the following reasons: <br /> <br />(a) Implementation of the Agreement does not <br />represent any change in the Redevelopment Project; nor does <br />it involve any new significant environmental impacts other <br />than those considered in the Redevelopment Project E.I.R. <br />
