<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-4 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING, AS TO <br />FORM, THE PRELIMINARY REPORT, AND AUTHORIZING <br />TRANSMITTAL OF THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND THE DRAFT <br />REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE PROPOSED MERGER AND <br />AMENDMENT TO THE SOUTH MAIN STREET AND INTER-CITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS TO ALL AFFECTED TAXING <br />AGENCIES. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana (the <br />"Agency") and the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />(the "Commission") have undertaken proceedings to merge and amend the <br />Redevelopment Plans for the South Main Street and Inter-City Redevelopment <br />Project Areas ("Project Area") in the city of Santa Ana to extend the <br />indebtedness time limits, to modify the financial limits in the Redevelopment <br />Plans, to minimize administrative costs, to extend the time frame for the use <br />of eminent domain in some areas, and to review the projects still to be <br />implemented in order to complete redevelopment of the project areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission intends to consider adopting a merger and amendment <br />to the Redevelopment Plans and undertake certain projects in the Project <br />Area, pursuant to Part 1 of Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code <br />(commencing with Section 33000); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has authorized the preparation of a Preliminary <br />Report, a copy of which is on file with the Secretary of the Redevelopment <br />Commission, prepared pursuant to Section 33344.5 of the Health and Safety <br />Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a draft of the Redevelopment Plan for the merger and amendment <br />("Amended Redevelopment Plan") has been prepared, <br /> <br />THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Preliminary Report conforms to the requirement of the California <br />Communi ty Redevelopment Law. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to distribute <br />the Preliminary Report to each taxing agency and other affected agencies <br />within the Project Area pursuant to the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to distribute <br />the Draft Amended Redevelopment Plan to all affected taxing agencies and <br />interested parties within the Project Area for their review and comment. <br /> <br />q <br /> <br />4A <br />
