Evans. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> PRESENT: <br /> ABSENT: <br />OTHERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Brandt, Evans, Garthe, Ortiz, Ward, Yamamoto <br />Bricken (arrived at 2:04 p.m.) <br />Acting City Manager/Attorney Keith Gow; <br />Clerk of the Council DiedreLingenfelter; <br />members of the staff and press. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the pledge of allegiance <br />to the flag, the invocation was <br />given by Councilman Ward. <br /> <br />RECESS - SPECIAL MEETING At 2:02 p.m. Council recessed to <br />C~ITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY convene the special meeting of the <br /> Con~nunity Redevelopment Agency. <br /> Councilman Bricken arrived at <br />2:04 p.m. during the Community Redevelopment Agency meeting; the Council <br />meeting reconvened at 3:55 p.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />PROPOSED SALE OF PROPERTY TO <br />DR. STEVEN J. KEISER & PAULA B. <br />KEISER - RESOLUTION NO'S. 79-15 <br />AND 79-16 - ADOPTED <br /> <br />Mayor Evans opened the public hearing <br />for the proposed sale of property <br />bounded by Fourth Street on the north, <br />Ross Street on the west, Third Street <br />on the soutl~and Birch Street on the <br /> <br /> east, by the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency to Dr. Steven J. Keiser and Paula B. Keiser for the development of <br />a commercial and office building. <br /> <br />Thomas E. Hammill, Associate Real Property Agent for the Community Redevelop- <br />ment Agency, displayed maps of the property~proposed to be sold by the Agency <br />and described the proposed development as a 24,000 square foot office and <br />c~m~ercial structure. He stated the developer presently owns a 75-foot <br />improved parcel fronting on Fourth Street and has requested the Agency acquire <br />six additional parcels for conveyance to him. He explained that the Agency <br />intends to enter into an Owner Participation Agreement with the developer <br />and he outlined the terms detailed in the report dated January 11, 1979, pre- <br />pared by Richard E. Goblirsch, Executive Director of the Community Redevelop- <br />mentAgency. <br /> <br />There being no speakers on the matter, Mayor Evans closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Brandt, seconded by Garthe, to adopt the following <br />Resolutions: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-15 - A resolution of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana making environmental findings necessary for the proposed <br />participation agreement between the Co~unity Redevelopment Agency of <br />the City of Santa Ana and Dr. Steven J. Keiser and Paula B. Keiser for <br />the sale and development of that certain real property in the Santa Ana <br />Redevelopment Project. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-16 - A resolution of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana making certain findings with respect to the consideration to <br />be received by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa <br />Ana pursuant to aparticipation agreementbetween the Conmmmity Redevel- <br />opment Agency of the City of Santa Ana and Dr. Steven J. Keiser and <br />Paula B.
