<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOP- <br />MENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DETERMINING NOT TO PROCEED WITH THE <br />MERGER OF THE SOUTH MAIN STREET AND <br />INTER-CITY COMMUTER STATION REDEVELOP- <br />MENT PROJECTS, AND TO PROCEED WITH THE <br />AMENDMENT OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR <br />THE SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT <br />PROJECT ALONE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City <br />Council, performing the functions of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the city of Santa Ana pursuant to section 33202 of the <br />California Health and Safety Code and Resolution No. 91-102 of the <br />City Council of the city of Santa Ana, commenced proceedings for <br />the merger of the project areas of the Santa Ana South Main Street <br />Redevelopment Project and the Santa Ana Inter-city Commuter station <br />Redevelopment Project and the amendment of the redevelopment plans <br />adopted for those projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Commission now determines that it is not in the <br />interest of the City of Santa Ana to proceed with the merger of the <br />two project areas, but rather to proceed only with the proposed <br />amendment to the redevelopment plan for the Santa Ana South Main <br />Street Redevelopment Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Proceedings for the merger of the project areas of the <br />Santa Ana South Main Street Redevelopment Project and the Santa Ana <br />Inter-City Commuter station Redevelopment Project shall be <br />discontinued. <br /> <br />2. Proceedings for the amendment of the redevelopment plan <br />for the Santa Ana Inter-City Commuter Station Redevelopment Project <br />shall be discontinued. <br /> <br />3. Proceedings for the amendment of the redevelopment plan <br />for the Santa Ana South Main Street Redevelopment Project shall be <br />continued in accordance with the "Statement Regarding Merger and <br />Amendment to the Redevelopment Plans" previously received by this <br />Commission insofar as it pertains to the Santa Ana South Main <br />Street Redevelopment Project. <br /> <br />4. The preliminary report and draft amendment of the <br />redevelopment plan for the Santa Ana South Main Street <br />Redevelopment Project, in the form presented to this Commission on <br />this date, are hereby approved. <br />
