<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REL: ""'/94 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOP- <br />MENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94-1 TO INCREASE <br />THE AMOUNT OF COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY FUNDS FROM THE NORTH HARBOR REDE- <br />VELOPMENT PROJECT WHICH MAY BE USED FOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO ROSITA PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana, by its Resolution No. 94-1, adopted June 20, 1994, <br />determined that the construction of a recreation center in Rosita <br />Park is of benefit to the Santa Ana North Harbor Boulevard <br />Redevelopment Project Area, that no other reasonable means of <br />financing construction of said recreation center is available to <br />the City and that the use of funds of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Santa Ana for construction of said recreation <br />center will assist in the elimination of one or more blighting <br />conditions; and authorized the Community Redevelopment Agency of <br />the City of Santa Ana to pay a portion of the cost of construction <br />of said recreation center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 94-1 authorized up to $2 million <br />in Agency funds from the North Harbor Boulevard Redevelopment <br />Project Area to be used for the construction of said recreation <br />center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it now appears that up to $2.5 million in Agency <br />funds from the said project area will be necessary for the <br />construction of said recreation center; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that Resolution 94-1 is amended in <br />the following respects: <br /> <br />1. The fifth recital in said resolution is amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana ("city") has <br />assembled $0.6 million in funds from various sources <br />in order to finance the construction of the Recre- <br />ation Center, leaving a shortfall of approximately <br />$2.5 million; and <br /> <br />2.
