<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AEL: 5/22195 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOP- <br />MENT AND HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO <br />THE SANTA ANA SOUTH MAIN STREET <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Santa Ana adopted <br />Ordinance No. NS-1639 on July 6, 1982, approving and adopting the <br />Redevelopment Plan for the Santa Ana South Main Street <br />Redevelopment Project Area (the "Redevelopment Plan"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Commission, performing functions of the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency of the city of Santa Ana pursuant to <br />section 33202 of the California Health and Safety Code, prepared <br />and proposed an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan as set forth in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto (the "Amendment"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the city of Santa Ana made <br />and submitted its Report and Recommendation on the Amendment, <br />finding that the Amendment conforms to the General Plan of the <br />City, and recommending approval and adoption of the Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Commission has prepared a Report to the city <br />Council pursuant to section 33352 of the Health and Safety Code and <br />transmitted it to the city Council in preparation for the joint <br />public hearing set for June 20, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this commission has complied with all requirements <br />for public participation in the preparation of the Amendment, and <br />pursuant to Section 33458 of the Health and safety Code, the <br />Commission held a joint public hearing with the City Council on <br />June 20, 1995 for consideration of the adoption of the Amendment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AND HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Commission hereby approves the Amendment, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, and recommends adoption of the Amendment by <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />2. The Commission determines that (a) the publicly owned <br />buildings, facilities, structures, and other improvements set forth <br />in Exhibit C of the Redevelopment Plan as amended by the Amendment <br />(the "Improvements") are of benefit to the Santa Ana South Main <br />Redevelopment Project area and to the immediate neighborhood of <br />that area, (b) that no other reasonable means of financing the <br />Improvements are available to the community, and (c) that the <br />payment of funds for the acquisition of land or the cost of the <br /> <br />1 <br />
