<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Findinq 3: <br /> <br />Specific economic, social or other considerations <br />make infeasible the mitigation measures or project <br />alternatives identified in the EIR. <br /> <br />After reviewing the Final EIR and the public record on the project, <br />the city of Santa Ana hereby makes the findings in Section V, VI <br />and VII, regarding the significant effects of the Amendment to the <br />South Main street Redevelopment Plan project, pursuant to Section <br />15091 of the State CEQA Guidelines. <br /> <br />v. <br /> <br />EFFECTS DETERMINED <br />INSIGNIFICANCE <br /> <br />BE <br /> <br />KITIGATABLE <br /> <br />LEVEL <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />TO <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />TO <br /> <br />Earth Resources <br /> <br />Siqnificant Effect <br /> <br />Future development in the area would be subject to seismic activity <br />from local faults. <br /> <br />Findinq <br /> <br />Finding 1: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or <br />incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br />substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Suuuort of the Findinq <br /> <br />The significant effect has been substantially lessened to the <br />extent feasible by virtue of the following mitigation measure <br />identified in the Final EIR and incorporated into the project. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />All projects that require excavation and/or grading shall have <br />a geotechnical soils report approved by the city of Santa Ana <br />Planning and Building Agency prior to the issuance of grading <br />or building permits. The City shall require as appropriate <br />those measures identified in the geotechnical report as deemed <br />necessary to allow the safe development of a project be <br />incorporated with project construction. <br /> <br />Noise <br /> <br />Siqnificant Effect <br /> <br />Short-term construction noise could occur during project <br />construction and demolition of buildings. To determine long-term <br />noise impacts, future studies associated with each development <br />project would be required. <br /> <br />4 <br />
