MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ~ETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />April 2, 1979 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, by b{ayor Vernon S. Evans. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />David Brandt, Vernon Evans, John <br />Garthe, James Ward, Harry Yamamoto <br />Gordon Bricken*, David Ortiz <br />City Manager B.J. Thompson; City <br />Attorney Keith Gow; Clerk of the <br />Council Diedre' Lingenfelter; members <br />of the staff and the press. <br /> <br />~Councilman Bricken arrived at 2:35 p.m. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag, the invocation was given by <br />Mayor Evans. <br /> <br />RECESS - REGULAR MEETING <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />Council members present. <br /> <br />At 2:10 p.m. Council recessed to <br />convene the regular meeting of the <br />Housing Authority. At 2:12 p.m. the <br />Council reconvened with the same <br /> <br />CONSENT CALF~NDAR Item 5Awas removed from the Consent <br />ITEMS Rt~4OVtD & Calendar by Brandt and items 2B, 5C, <br />DISSENTING VOTES 5D, SE, 7A, 7B, and 7C were removed <br /> by Mayor Evans.
