<br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />October 1, 1973 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was called to <br />order at 2:05 P.M., by Vice-Chairman Harry K. Yamamoto, in the City <br />Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Roll call was answered by the <br />Commissioners as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />John Garthe <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />James E. Ward <br />Lorin Griset <br /> <br />J. Ogden Markel <br />Jerry M. Patterson, Chairman <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Thomas J. Andrusky, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Charles Liberto, Acting Agency Counsel <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Charles Zimmerman, Planning Director <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representatives of the Press <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting of September 4, 1973, <br />were approved on motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner <br />Garthe and unanimously carried subject to the following correction requested <br />by Vice-Chairman Harry K. Yamamoto: <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Page 1, first paragraph, change"... was called to order by <br />Acting-Chairman Vernon S. Evans" to "... was called to order <br />by Vice-Chairman Harry K. Yamamoto." <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A BUDGET <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 1973-74 was adopted on motion of Commissioner Garthe, <br />seconded by Commissioner Ward and carried on the following vote: <br /> <br />RES. NO. 73-7 <br /> <br /> AYES: Griset, Ward, Yamamoto, Garthe <br />. NOES: Evans <br /> ABSENT: Markel, Patterson <br /> <br />Prior to voting, Commissioner Evans stated his opinion that it was illegal <br />for the City Council to loan general tax fund money to the Community Re- <br />development Agency. The As sistant City Attorney stated that the loan was <br />legal in all respects. <br /> <br />. <br />
