<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />JULY 2, 1973 <br /> <br />The Regular meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was called <br />to order at 2:10 P.M., by Chairman Jerry M. Patterson, in the City <br />Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Roll call was answered by <br />the Commissioners as follows: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />John Garthe <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />James E. Ward <br />Lorin Griset <br />Jerry M. Patterson <br /> <br />J. Ogden Markel <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Thomas J. Andrusky, Executive Director-Secretary <br />James A. Withers, Agency Counsel <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Charles Zimmerman, Planning Director <br />Ronald Wolford, Director of Public Works <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representatives of the Press <br /> <br />The Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of <br />June 4, 1973 were approved as presented on the unanimously approved <br />motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Yamamoto. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />A letter from Joseph D. Gilmaker dated March 26, 1973, requesting <br />exclusion of his real estate holdings from the Santa Ana Redevelopment <br />Area was denied, on motion of Commissioner Griset, seconded by <br />Commissioner Ward, with Commissioner Evans dissenting. <br /> <br />ELECTION OF <br />OFFICERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Evans moved <br />that Chairman Jerry M. <br />Patterson and Vice Chairman <br />respective offices. The motion was <br />Vice Chairman Griset declined the <br /> <br />Lorin Griset be re-elected to their <br />seconded by Commissioner Garthe. <br />nomination. <br /> <br />Commissioner Evans nominated Commissioner Garthe to serve as Vice <br />Chairman. The nomination was declined. <br /> <br />Commissioner Evans moved to close the nominations for Chairman, seconded <br />by Commissioner Griset and carried. Chairman Patterson was unanimously <br />elected to serve as Chairman. <br /> <br />Commissioner Griset nominated Commissioner Evans to serve as Vice <br />Chairman. <br />
