Thompson; City <br />Attorney Keith Gow; Clerk of the Council <br />Diedre' Lingenfelter; members of the <br />staff and press. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the <br />invocation was given by Mayor James <br />Ward. <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />REVENUE SHARING FUNDS <br />ACCEPTED <br /> <br />$100,000 for the purpose of purchasing <br />Bowers Museum. <br /> <br />Supervisor Philip Anthony, Chairman <br />of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, <br />presented the City's share of Revenue <br />Sharing Funds in the amount of <br />additional land for e~pansion of the <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Markel, seconded by Ward, to accept the $100,000 of Revenue <br />Sharing Funds with thanks. <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />BRICKEN, GRISET, LUXI~IBOURCER, I, ItlLKEL, SEtLRATO, YAY~DTO <br />WARD <br />NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION PRESENTBD - <br />MINORITY BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY <br />DAY TRADE FAIR <br /> <br />Chairman of the event. <br /> <br />5tayor Ward presented a proclamation <br />supporting "Minority Business <br />Opportunity Day Trade Fair - April <br />17, 1979", to Marshall Nettles, <br /> <br />RECESS - REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOIIqKNT <br />AGENCY <br /> <br />At 2:15 p.m. the Council recessed <br />to convene the regular meeting of <br />the Connnunity Redevelopment Agency; <br />at 3:45 p.m. the Council reconvened. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Item 5B was removed from the Consent <br />ITEMS PdBIOVED/ADDED Calendar by Councilman Yamamoto; <br /> items 13A and 13B by Councilman <br />Markel; and item 7A by Mayor Ward.
