<br />..,' <br />..- <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />November 13, 1974 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was <br />called to order by Chairman Patterson at 4:10 P.M., in Room <br />831, City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Lynn O'Dell and Karen Lee, Press Representatives <br /> <br />on the unanimously <br />Griset seconded by <br /> <br />The Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of <br />October 9,1974, were <br />approved as submitted <br />(5-0) approved motion of Commissioner <br />Commissioner Markel. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />BUILDING PERMIT <br />OWNER'S PARTICIPATION <br />AGREEMENT - JAMES E. MAHONEY <br />(MILLER TIRE CO.) <br /> <br />The Director stated <br />that Mr. James E. <br />Mahoney has requested <br />a building permit in <br />the Redevelopment <br />Project Area, specifically, the block bounded by Fifth Street <br />on the north, Fourth Street on the south, French Street on <br />the west and Mortimer Street on the east, for the relocation <br />of his auto service center, presently located at 209 Bush <br />Street. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />He further stated that Mr. Mahoney had agreed to all of the <br />Planning Department conditions pertaining to the property <br />with one exception, a 5-foot setback landscaping requirement <br />as opposed to a 3-foot setback proposed by Mr. Mahoner to <br />accommodate adequate parking. The Director requested that <br />Staff be allowed to work out a landscaping plan that wøuld allow <br />a 3-foot setback where needed for parking. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ward stated that he was not particularly Can, <br />cerned with the 3-foot versus the 5-£oot,providing trees are <br />included in the landscaping treatment and that the development <br />be away from Mortimer and French to allow for eventual <br />abandonment by the City for use in private development. <br /> <br />The Director was authorized to issue a building permit to Mr. <br />Mahoney, subject to the foregoing comments, and to execute <br />the Owner's Participation Agreement on behalf of tQeAgencr/ <br />on the unanimously (5-0) approved mott,on of Co1lUI\bstone'l: Gr¡,et <br />seconded by c~mmissioner Ward. <br />
