<br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />October 9, 1974 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was <br />called to order by Chairman Patterson at 4:10 P.M., in Room 831, <br />City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza. Roll call was as follows: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />John Garthe <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />Jerry M. Patterson, Chairman <br /> <br />*Commissioner Ward arrived at 4:15 P. M. <br /> <br />J. Ogden Markel <br />Lorin Griset <br />James E. Ward* <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Richard E. Goblirsch, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Charles Liberto, Agency Counsel Representative <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representatives of the Press, Lynn O'Dell and Karen Lee <br /> <br />Approval of the Minutes <br />of September 18, 1974, <br />was deferred pending <br />Councilman Ward's arrival, in accordance with the request from <br />the Recording Secretary, on the unanimously(4-0) motion of Com- <br />missioner Yamamoto, seconded by Commissioner Garthe. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The Minutes of September 11, 1974, were approved as submitted on <br />the unanimously approved motion of Commissioner Yamamoto, seconded <br />by Commissioner Garthe. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />The Director reported that <br />there were no communications. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COM- <br />MUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AN AGREEMENT OF <br />EMPLOYMENT WITH THE LAW FIRM OF O'MELVENY AND MYERS TO PROVIDE BOND <br />COUNSEL SERVICES FOR THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY was adopted <br />by title only, on motion of Commissioner Yamamoto, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Garthe and carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-15 <br />BOND COUNSELOR SERVICES <br />O'MELVENY AND MYERS <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Garthe, Yamamoto, Patterson, Evans <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Markel, Ward, Griset <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COM- <br />MUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING A MODIFICATION <br />OF THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND LARRY SMITH AND <br />COMPANY, INC., FOR ECONOMIC STUDIES AND SERVICES was adopted, by <br />title only, on motion of Commissioner Yamamoto, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Garthe and carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-16 <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT AMENDMENT <br />LARRY SMITH AND COMPANY <br />
