Thon~son; City Attorney Keith <br />Gow; members of the staff and press. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCAT ION <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the <br />Invocation was given by Councilman <br />Yamamoto. <br /> <br />RECESS - REGULARMEETING At 2:09 p.m. Council recessed to convene <br />HCUSING AUTHORITY the regular meeting of the Housing <br /> Authority. At 2:20 p.m. the Council <br />reconvened with the same Council members present. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION PRESENTED - Mayor Ward presented a proclamation <br />CRll~E PREVENTION WEEK supporting "Crime Prevention Week" - <br /> May 20-26, 1979, to Police Chief R. <br /> C. Davis. Chief Davis thanked Mayor <br />Ward and Councilmen, and extended an invitation to all citizens to attend the <br />Crime Prevention Fair to be held on May 26, 1979, in the Civic Center Plaza of <br />the Sun from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Item 1 was removed from the Consent <br />ITEIRS Ri~VED & Calendar by Markel; Items 31 and 7B <br />DISSENTING VOTES by Yamamoto; Item 12F by Luxembourger; <br /> Item 12D by Mayor Ward; and Items 2A, <br />3A, 3D, 3H, and 12B by Bricken.
