<br />ORANGE COUNTY LEAGUE OF CITIES by Bricken, to authorize payment of
<br />PAYMBNT OF DUES - APPROVED $2,768.00 dues assessment for fiscal
<br /> ~ year 1978-79, to the Orange County
<br />Division, 'League of California Cities, for reinstatement of the City's membership
<br />in that organization with the following stipulations:

<br />The City Council continues support of the "one-man one-vote" policy
<br />so that cities with larger populations will have proportionate
<br />representation in the Orange County Division; and
<br />
<br />2)
<br />
<br />Council directs City elected and staff representatives to the
<br />League to work within the Orange County Division to change its
<br />bylaws to require that larger cities have representation on all
<br />major Division, City/County, regional or State committees, com-
<br />missions or boards, i.e., LAFCO, OCTD (Local Agency Formation
<br />Co~nission, Orange County Transit District);
<br />
<br />following consideration of the report dated April 27, 1979, prepared by the
<br />Assistant City Manager, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of member-
<br />ship in the Orange County Division of the League.
