<br />I <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />I <br /> <br />'- . <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />JUNE 16,1975 <br /> <br />The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency <br />was called to order at 12:00 noon, by Chairman Evans, in the City <br />Manager's Conference Room, Room 834,20 Civic Center Plaza. <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />ABSENT <br /> <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />David Ortiz <br />John Garthe <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Gordon Bricken <br />James E. Ward <br />David Brandt <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Richard E. Goblirsch, Executive Director <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Thomas Andrusky, Assistant City Manager <br />Charles Zimmerman, Planning Director <br />Chuck Liberto, Acting City Manager <br />James Hicks, Real Estate Consultant <br />Susan Shick, Assistant to Executive Director <br />Bob Johnson, Coldwell Banker <br /> <br />WILSHIRE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br /> <br />Bob Johnson, representing Wilshire Development Corporation requested <br />that the Corporation be granted an exclusive right to negotiate <br />for a six month period with the Redevelopment Agency to develop <br />office professional reuse on the YMCA site directly adjacent <br />to the new Civic Center Drive. Mr. Yamamoto requested informa- <br />tion on whether Wilshire Development Corporation was local with <br />offices in Santa Ana. Mr. Johnson responded that the Corporation <br />owns the Crocker Bank Building, has offices in the Crocker Bank <br />Building, but its Corporation headquarters were in Los Angeles. <br />It was moved by Mr. Ward and seconded by Mr. Garthe that the <br />Agency grant an exclusive right to negotiate for a six month <br />period to the Wilshire Development Corporation. The motion was <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />STUDY CONDUCTED BY RALPH ANDERSON ASSOCIATES <br /> <br />Study to be conducted by Ralph Anderson Associates is to produce <br />supportive information on Redevelopment to aid the legislative <br />body in analyzing and possibly changing the Redevelopment Law. <br />It was moved by Mr. Garthe and seconded by Mr. Ward that a pay- <br />ment of $500 be made to support the study by the AgenGY. On a <br />roll call vote, the motion was supported by Garthe, Ward, Bricken <br />and Yamamoto. The motion was opposed by Evans, Brandt and Ortiz. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS 1258 <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Ward and seconded by Mr. Brandt that the <br />Santa Ana Redevelopment Agency receive Ordinance Number 1258 <br />from the Santa Ana City Council. The motion passed unanimously. <br />
