Goblirsch, Executive Director <br />James Hicks, Real Estate Consultant <br />Susan Shick, Assistant to Executive Director <br />Stacey Creveston, Secretary <br />Robert Blaustone, Santa Ana College <br />Marty Hunt, Recreation and Parks <br />Chuck Liberto, Acting City Attorney <br />Howard Way, Project Area Committee <br />Fern Zimmerman, Project Area Committee <br />Lynn O'Dell, The Register <br />John Dykstra, Pacific Rim Associates <br />Chuck Zimmerman, Planning Director <br />Tom Andrusky, Assistant City Manager <br />Stanley Rothenberg, Attorney <br />Bill Hall, Santa Ana City Center Association <br />Terry Jacobson, Leason Pomeroy Associates <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 12, 1975, and the <br />Regular Meeting of April 9, 1975 and Special Meeting of May 15, <br />1975 were approved on the motion of Mr. Garthe, seconded by <br />Mr. Ward. Mr. Yamamoto abstained. <br /> <br />CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS <br /> <br />Staff made a presentation on the Center for the Performing Arts <br />of which the Amphitheatre was proposed as Phase I. The Amphi- <br />theatre would be privately financed seating approximately 6500. <br />Phase II would consist of a Threatre for 1200, a Concert Hall <br />for 900 and an Exhibition Gallery, all of which would surround the <br />Amphitheatre. After discussion and questions by Agency members, <br />it was moved by Mr. Ward and seconded by Mr. Brandt that the Agency <br />recommend to the City Council that a six month exclusive right <br />to negotiate with City staff for development of the Amphitheatre <br />be authorized for Mr. Harvey Kresky, the proposer of the Amphi- <br />theatre. On a roll call vote, the motion was approved by Evans, <br />Brandt, Ward, Garthe, Bricken, opposed by Yamamoto; Mr. Ortiz <br />was absent. <br />
