<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />LEASE AGREEMENT FOR PARKING PURPOSES <br /> <br />Staff requested authorization to execute a lease agreement between <br />the Community Redevelopment Agency and Hurbert H. Wakeham for parking <br />purposes on the corner of Fourth and Birch Streets, with the Agency <br />making all improvements at a cost of approximately $5,700. A motion <br />was made by Mr. Ward and seconded by Mr. Garthe to authorize the <br />Chairman of the Agency to execute a lease agreement between the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency and Hurbert H. Wakeham for parking <br />purposes. The motion was amended by Mr. Evans and seconded by Mr. <br />Brandt to continue this item until the completion of the Parking <br />Study. The motion carried by the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Garthe, Evans, Brandt, Ward, Ortiz <br />none <br />Yamamoto <br />Bricken <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 77-2 <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Ward and carried <br />(Mr. Yamamoto abstained) to adopt Resolution 77-2, A RESOLUTION <br />OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ADOPTING THE NEW ENVIRONMENTAL RULES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />1976 REVISION WITH MODIFICATIONS AND REPEALING ENVIRONMENTAL PRO- <br />CEDURES AND REGULATIONS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED BY THE AGENCY. <br /> <br />DEMOLITION OF PROPERTIES IN SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING SITE <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Ward and carried <br />(Mr. Yamamoto abstained) to authorize the Executive Director to <br />proceed to solicit bids from qualified demolition contractors for <br />demolition of the remaining structures in the second phase senior <br />citizen housing site. <br /> <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY OF PERFORMING ARTS CENTER <br /> <br />A representative of Economics Research Associates, Richard McElyea, <br />made a report on the progress of the feasibility study for the Per- <br />forming Arts Center. A motion was made by Mr. Ward, seconded by Mr. <br />Evans and carried (Mr. Yamamoto abstained) to receive and file the <br />report. <br /> <br />RELOCATION OF TENANTS IN SENIOR CITIZENS SITE <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Brandt and carried <br />(Mr. Yamamoto abstained) to receive and file the written report on <br />the relocation of the tenants in the senior citizens site. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Upon the motion of Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Ward and carried <br />unanimously, the Agency adjourned the Regular Meeting at 2:39 P.M. <br />in order to convene an Executive Session at 4:00 P.M. to discuss <br />potential litigation matters. The Executive Session began at <br />4:05 P.M. At 5:00 P.M., the Agency adjourned the Executive Session <br />and reconvened the Regular Meeting. No action was taken on the <br />litigation matters discussed. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business before the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />--:e <br />
