<br />MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by Luxembourger, to approve the
<br />recreation budget for a six month period, in the total amount of $381,460,
<br />including the changes to the Preliminary Budget approved earlier, and
<br />including the following positions listed under Account #23-231, Recreation
<br />and Parks Department-Administration: Director, Leisure Services Manager,
<br />Administrative Assistant, Secretary, Account Clerk I and Typist Clerk II;
<br />to reallocate the remainder of the recreation budget to the Council Contin-
<br />gency fund in the amount of $272,570; and to instruct staff to submit a
<br />report and recommended program for the recreation department on October 15,
<br />1979, for Council study and consideration of midyear revisions.

<br />The City Manager commented that the $25,000.00 required by an earlier
<br />motion to match General Revenue Sharing funds allocated to improvements
<br />to the AMTRAK station could be transferred at a later time from the Com-
<br />munityDevelopment Budget Unmet Capital Needs account if Council so desires.
<br />
<br />MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by Ward, to reallocate $7,500 from
<br />Preliminary Budget Account #11-013, Fund 842, Recreation & Parks, for
<br />retention of a Risk Management Consultant.
