<br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />SEPTEMBER 2, 1980 <br /> <br />The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Santa Ana was called to order by <br />Chairman James Ward at 2:07 P.M. in the City Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Center Plaza, Santa Ana, <br />Cal ifornia. Cooper, City Attorney <br />Laura Garcia, Secre tary <br /> <br />Officer <br /> <br />PROPOSAL FOR FIRST AND FLOWER STREETS OFFICE/COMMERCIAL AND <br />RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Ward asked if there were any oral communications from <br />staff. Mr. Ream stated that this matter was continued from <br />the Agency Meeting of August 18, 1980 and that it was a <br />Proposal for Office/Commerical and Residential Development <br />bounded by First, Flower, Second and Olive Streets. Mr. <br />Ream also stated that Mr. Bert Tarayao was present at the <br />meeting to offer a complete presentation on the proposal and <br />answer any ques tions tha t the Agency wish to address. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman Ward invited Mr. Bert W. Tarayao, A.I.A. to address <br />the Agency on behalf of Associates Four International. Mr. <br />Tarayao then made a comprehensive slide presentation to the <br />Agency. <br /> <br />Mr. Bricken moved that the the Agency grant Associates Four <br />International a six month exclusive right to negotiate for <br />the development of a site bounded by First, Flower, Second <br />and Olive Streets, subject to the payment of one-half of the <br />cos t of the necessary feas ibil i ty study and the fu ture <br />availability of Agency funds. The motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Griset and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br /> <br />A nomination was made by Mr. Bricken, seconded by Mr. <br />Serrato to appoint Robert Luxembourger as Chairman. <br />Nominations were closed, and the vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
