<br />J <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />JOINT MEETING WITH CITY COUNCIL <br />AND REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />FEBRUARY 19, 1980 <br /> <br />The Joint Meeting with the City Council and the Regular Meeting of <br />the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana was <br />called to order by Mayor/Chairman James E. Ward at 1:03 P.M. in the <br />City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, <br />California. Ream, Assistant Executive Director <br />Tom Hammill, Real Estate Officer <br />Stacey Creveston, Secretary <br />Carl J. Thornton, City Manager (Interim) <br />Ed Cooper, Assistant City Attorney <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED SALE BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY TO MOHLER-VISTA, A GENERAL PARTNERSHIP AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />FINDINGS RELATED THERETO <br /> <br />Due to a conflict of interest, Chairman Ward turned the meeting <br />over to Vice Chairman Griset, and then left the meeting. <br /> <br />The Vice Chairman announced that this was the time and place for <br />the joint public hearing of the Community Redevelopment Agency and <br />the City Council of the City of Santa Ana for the proposed sale of <br />property by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa <br />Ana to Mohler-Vista and environmental findings in relation thereto. <br /> <br />The Vice Chairman requested that staff identify the property or <br />issues and give staff recommendation. Mr. Tom Hammill, the <br />Agency's Real Estate Officer, reported that the site is bounded on <br />the north by a line approximately 157 feet north of Civic Center <br />Drive, on the west by Lowell, on the south by Civic Center ~ive, <br />and on the east by Flower; the development site consists of 14 <br />parcels; the proposed development will consist of an eight story <br />quality office structure of approximately 168,000 square feet, and <br />a 346 space parking structure. Staff recommends approval of the <br />two resolutions and the proposed budget. <br /> <br />The Vice Chairman asked staff if there were any written <br />communications. There were none. The Vice Chairman requested to <br />hear from the public in agreement and disagreement with the <br />environmental findings or the proposed sale, respectively. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />" <br />
