<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, the Vice Chairman <br />asked the members of the Agency if they had any questions or <br />comments. Mr. Luxembourger asked staff if the finder's fee to find <br />a place to relocate the Mission was still in effect. The Executive <br />Director responded that there is still a $10,000 finder's fee <br />available. <br /> <br />There being no <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Vice Chairman closed the <br /> <br />further <br /> <br />comments, <br /> <br />Mr. Bricken commented that just getting the Mission out of the <br />downtown is not going to correct the problems. The real problems <br />are all of the bars and flophouses that exist. <br /> <br />Mr. Ward commented that its about time that we change the image of <br />the downtown, and he is supportive of any businessman who is <br />willing to contribute his efforts to the community. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Ward, seconded by Mr. Serrato and carried <br />by the following roll call vote to adopt Resolution 80-23: A <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA MAKING ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS NECESSARY FOR THE PROPOSED <br />DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SANTORA PARTNERS <br />FOR THE SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Griset, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />Bricken, Markel <br />None <br /> <br />Mayor Ward stated that the Chair would now entertain a motion of <br />the City Council regarding the environmental findings and the <br />proposed sale. A motion was made by Councilman Griset, seconded by <br />Mayor Ward and carried by the following roll call vote to adopt <br />Resolution 80-34: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA MAKING ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS NECESSARY FOR THE PROPOSED <br />DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SANTORA PARTNERS <br />FOR THE SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Griset, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />Br icken, Marke 1 <br />None <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward <br />and carried by the following roll call vote to adopt Resolution 80- <br />35: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSIDERATION TO BE <br />RECEIVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA PURSUANT TO A DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SANTORA <br />PARTNERS FOR THE SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN <br />THE SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT; APPROVING THE PROPOSED SALE OF <br />SAID REAL PROPERTY; AND APPROVING THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT PERTAINING THERETO. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Griset, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />Br icken, Markel <br />None <br /> <br />The Chairman stated that the Chair would now entertain a motion of <br />the Agency regarding the proposed sale.
