Mr. <br />DesRochers stated that he had given the Agency a copy of his <br />letter to Honorable Gordon Bricken, Mayor, stating his <br />particular reasons on why he should get this parking lot. <br />He also stated that he had attached documents prepared by <br />the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency which <br />clearly showed that the Agency (and the City Council) <br />understood the inter-relationship of the restaurant. Also <br />attached, is a letter from Alexander Nalle, then Chairman of <br />the Redevelopment Commission, which speaks of appreciation <br />for his investment and committment to the future of Santa <br />Ana. Mr. DesRochers also stated that while the proposed <br />redevelopment project includes his leasing of twenty-one <br />(21) parking spaces, it also ends that lease on September <br />17, 1984 and totally excludes his option to purchase the <br />property. He stated that he will have no recourse and he <br />cannot survive without parking. <br /> <br />Claude E. Young, 2102 N. Moshenko, Attorney at Law, 18952 MacArthur <br />Boulevard, Douglas Plaza, Suite 102, Irvine, California <br />stated that he wished to have his letter of January 15,1982 <br />entered into the minutes (a copy is attached). <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Luxembourger, seconded by Mrs. <br />McGuigan and carried unanimously to receive and file the <br />letter dated January 15, 1982, from Moshenko, Russ & <br />Associates to Edward Cooper, City Attorney, City of Santa <br />Ana, and Mr. Cooper's response (copy attached) to said firm <br />dated January 29,1982. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
