<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />DECEMBER 20, 1983 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency of <br />the City of Santa Ana was called to order by Chairman <br />Luxembourger at 5:36 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, 22 <br />Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. After the Pledge <br />to the Flag and the Invocation given by Mr. Bricken, roll <br />was called: <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />ABSENT <br /> <br />John Acosta <br />Gordon Bricken <br />P. Lee Johnson <br />patricia McGuigan <br />Robert Luxembourger <br /> <br />Daniel Griset <br />Dan Young <br /> <br />Others in attendance: <br /> <br />Rex Swanson, Interim City Manager <br />Edward J. Cooper, City Attorney <br />David N. Ream, Interim Deputy City Manager <br />Thomas E. Hammill, Assistant Director Redevelopment <br />and Real Estate' <br />Teresa Baguley, Secretary <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mrs. McGuigan <br />and carried unanimously (5:0) to approve the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting held on November 15,1983. <br /> <br />ACQUISITION OF THE "MERCADO" <br />FOURTH AND FRENCH STREETS <br /> <br />NORTHWEST <br /> <br />CORNER OF <br /> <br />SITE, <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson stated that he felt it was important to note <br />that this acquisition is not by eminent domain. <br /> <br />It was then moved by Mr. Acosta, seconded by Mr. Johnson and <br />carried unanimously (5:0) to authorize the Chairman of the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana to execute an <br />Agreement for Acquisition, with a purchase price of <br />$250,000, for the "Mercado" site on the northwest corner of <br />Fourth and French Streets. <br />
