<br />made a motion, which was seconded by Commissioner Johnson and unanimously <br />carried (5:0) that the Downtown Development Commission receive and file <br />the presented report. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CONTINUATION OF ESTABLISHMENT OF ADVISORY BOARD ITEM TO <br />MEETING OF NOVEMBER 27th <br /> <br />Following a brief discussion outlining the merits of continuing this item, <br />Commissioner McGuigan pointed out that the majority of Commissioners will <br />be out of the City on the scheduled meeting date of the Downtown Development <br />Commission in November. Therefore, the motion was presented as a motion <br />to continue the item regarding the establishment of an advisory board to <br />the November 20th meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency, rather <br />than to the November 27th meeting of the Downtown Development Commission. <br />As amended, Commissioner McGuigan moved, and Commissioner Griset seconded <br />that the Downtown Development Commission continue the subject item until <br />the November 20th meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency. The <br />motion was carried unanimously (5:0). <br /> <br />PRESENTATION OF CHRONOLOGICAL SUMMARY OF DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT HIGHLIGHTS <br />AND ACTIVITIES FROM 1973 TO THE PRESENT <br /> <br />Mr. Henning presented an extensive and stimulating slide show, accompanied <br />by narrative and commentary highlighting "before and after" instances of <br />redevelopment. Over one hundred slides were shown. Mr. Henning stated <br />that a supplemental written report summarizing the chronological highlights <br />could be prepared. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, the Downtown <br />Development Commission was adjourned by rho;rman Luxembourger at R:50 p.m. <br />to their next regularily scheduled meeting of October 23rd. The Community <br />Redevelopment Agency was adjourned concurrently to their next regularily <br />scheduled meeting on October 16th.
