Two areas in the Downtown <br />which are currently being considered for such development <br />are the Gilmaker Block and the area in between the A-ll and <br />A-12 Sites. <br /> <br />Oral Communications - Lease A reement for Rental of Administrative <br />0 lces for t e Downtown Development Commlsslon <br />,,- <br /> <br />Following a statement from Robert Bobb emphasizing the importance <br />of the Downtown Development Commission being centrally located <br />within the Downtown area, it was moved by Commissioner Young, <br />seconded by Commissioner Johnson, and unanimously carried <br />(5:0) that a lease agreement be approved for the rental of <br />Downtown Development Commission administrative office space <br />at l16A West Fourth Street in Downtown Santa Ana and that <br />authorization be given to the Chairman to execute same. <br /> <br />Oral Communications - Status Report on the A-a Site <br /> <br />Mr. Kooi reported that a legal entity, the Greater Eastern <br />Development Corporation, had been defined and that it consisted <br />of the property owners and tenants of the A-a Site. Negotiations <br />and progress for the development of the site continue to be <br />accomplished. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, <br />the Downtown Development Commission and the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency were concurrently adjourned by Chairman Luxembourger <br />at B:20 p.m. <br /> <br />~rL'r¿ <br />R.
