Occidental, spoke in favor of the barricades as <br />they are presently situated. <br /> <br />Following Council discussion, MOTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by <br />Lvxembourger, to remove the two present barricades and instruct staff <br />to prepare a funding request for a traffic signal at the intersection of <br />Pacific and Edinger Streets and stop signs at the intersection of Pacific <br />and Glenwood. MOTION FAILED on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: ~ L~OURGER, YAMAMOTO, SERRATe <br />NOES: BRICKEN, GRISET, MARKEL, WARD <br /> <br />After further Council discussion, MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by <br />Ward, to 1) Relocate the barricades as recon~nended by staff for a 90-day <br />trial period; 2) Instruct staff to prepare cost analysis for traffic <br />signal at Pacific and Edinger; and 3) Instruct staff to prepare report on <br />suggested modification of access from Bristol and Raitt, with possible <br />additional traffic control devices.
