<br />Jim Tucker, 2062 South Rene, spoke in support of the staff recomendations.

<br />Following discussion, FDTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by Serrato, to
<br />direct staff to replace the existing barricades with 3-way stop signs on
<br />Occidental and the south leg of Rene, and 2-way stops on St. Andrew at Rene.

<br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Ward, to amend the foregoing motion
<br />to include: Direct staff to return to Council with a funding request for
<br />the installation of a new traffic signal on Edinger at Pacific; to install
<br />2-way stop signs on Pacific at Glenwood, and 4-way stops at Rene and St.
<br />Gertrude; and to continue to work with area residents to determine the
<br />advisability of installing traffic control devices in the immediate area.
