All members <br />formerly present returned to the Council Chambers at 9:17 P.M. <br /> <br />EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE WITH SCHURGIN DEVELOPMENT <br />CORPORATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE HARBOR DRIVE-IN SITE <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Luxembourger, seconded by Mr. Young and <br />carried unanimously (6:0) that the Agency grant Schurgin <br />Development Corporation a 180-day Exclusive Right to Negotiate <br />for the development of the Harbor Drive-In Site located at the <br />southeast corner of Harbor Blvd., and McFadden Ave. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES (A-14 SITE PARKING <br />STRUCTURE) <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Luxembourger and <br />carried uanimous1y (6:0) that the Agency approve the proposal for <br />architectural services for the design of an approximate 500-space <br />parking structure on the A-14 Site with McClellan, Cruz, Gaylord <br />& Associates in the amount of $52,000, and authorize the Chairman <br />to execute the necessary documents. <br /> <br />REQUEST THAT AGENCY WAIVE GOODFAITH DEPOSIT BY FIESTA MARKETPLACE <br />PARNTERSHIP <br /> <br />Mayor Griset advised the Agency Members that staff had brought, <br />to the Agency for a decision, a request from Fiesta Msrketplsce <br />Partnership that their $50,000 Goodfaith Deposit be refundable in <br />the event that the Fiesta Marketplace development did not <br />materialize. After a lengthy discussion period in which several <br />of the Agency Members expressed the concern that waiving the <br />Goodfaith Deposit would set a dangerous precedent for the future <br />and cause ill will on the part of those developers who had made <br />the deposits and lost them in the past, the Fiesta Marketplace <br /> <br />-14- <br />
