<br />DEVELOPER SELECTION - LA BONITA SITE <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mrs. Susan Moeller, Project Area Manager, stated that the <br />Redevelopment Agency, on November 15,1983, accepted <br />conveyance of the 4.98 acre La Bonita surplus park site and <br />authorized staff to solicit proposals for the residential <br />development of the site. She added that on May 15,1984, <br />after review of four proposals submitted for the site, the <br />Agency rejected all four proposals and authorized staff to <br />solicit new proposals. She pointed out that the Request for <br />Proposals was revised and called for a well-designed, high- <br />quality market-rate townhouse or condominium development on <br />the site. She added that a total of five proposals from <br />four developers were received on December 14,1984. These <br />responses were evaluated by the Development Team and ranked <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br /> <br />Lowy Development Corporation <br />Urban Pacific Development Corporation <br />RecreActions (low density) <br />C.T.N.C. Associates <br />RecreActions (high density) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, it was moved by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by <br />Mr. Johnson and carried unanimously that the Agency grant <br />Lowy Development Corporation a 90-day exclusive right to <br />negotiate for the residential development of the La Bonita <br />Site. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency, the meeting was adjourned by the <br />Chairman at 10:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />w <br /> <br />Daniel E.
