MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR METING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA~ CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />November 29, 1979 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order informally at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor James E. <br />Ward at the Hungry Tiger restaurant, 1641 Sunflower Avenue. Council mem- <br />bers present were Gordon Bricken, R, W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel, <br />Harry K. Yamamoto and Mayor Ward. Councilmen Daniel E. Griset and Alfred <br />C. Serrato were absent. Staff members present were City Manager B. J. <br />Thompson, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, and Clerk of the Council Janice C. <br />Guy. Also present were representatives of the City of Costa Mesa. <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting was to encourage the continuance of open com- <br />munication channels between theCities of Santa Ana and Costa Mesa. Pur- <br />suant to this objective,.matters of mutual interest and concern were dis- <br />cussed.
