<br />urging a County-wide restriction on the sale of fireworks. Following
<br />discussion, MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Luxembourger, to
<br />receive and file the letter and resolution.

<br />MEAD HOUSING REHAB PROGRAM Oscar Hart, 333 East 18th
<br />DIRECTED STAFF Street, asked that Councilman
<br /> Markel's written protest,
<br /> regarding the appearance of
<br />steps constructed in connection with Mead Housing Program houses at
<br />1512 and 1620 South Parton', be withdrawn. Mr. Hart stated that the
<br />neighbors have .no objection to the steps.
<br />
<br />Pursuant to the memorandum dated November 28, 1979, from Councilman
<br />Markel, and the Councilman's additional oral comments protesting aspects
<br />of the Mead Housing Rehabilitation Program, MOTION was made by Bricken,
<br />seconded by Yamamoto, to direct staff to begin immediately to expedite
<br />completion of the Mead Housing projects.
