<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AGENCY SECRETARY REPORT <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Griset, seconded by Agency Member May and <br />carried unanimously (4:0) to instruct the Agency Secretary to enter into the <br />minutes: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the Agenda for the <br />September 20, 1988 meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was posted on <br />the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 11 a.m, on <br />September 15, 1988. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />Chairman Young adjourned the meeting to Closed Session in Room 147 of the <br />Council Chambers at 5:35 p.m. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council read the following: <br /> <br />The Legal Counsel requests that the Redevelopment Agency recess to Closed <br />Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(A) to confer with its <br />attorney regarding pending litigation which has been initiated formally, and <br />to which the Redevelopment Agency is a party. The titles of the litigation <br />are: <br /> <br />Community Redevelonment A2encv vs <br />Community Redeve1onment AJencv vs <br />Community Redeve1onment A2encv vs <br /> <br />Draners <br />Wa1kun <br />Morisch Enternrises <br /> <br />The Agency Members returned to the Council Chambers at 5:40 p.m. with all <br />members pt;esent. <br /> <br />REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Pulido, seconded by Agency Member May and <br />carried unanimously (4:0) to approve the following settlements: <br /> <br />Community Redeve1onment A2encv vs. Draner's <br /> <br />Settlement in the amount of $237,000. <br /> <br />Communi tv Redeve1onment A2encv vs. Wa1kun <br /> <br />Settlement with tenant Carol Coontz in the amount of $21,860.95. <br /> <br />Communitv Redeve1onment A2encv vs <br /> <br />Morisch Enterorises <br /> <br />Settlement of the claim for loss of business goodwill of tenant Guadalajara <br />Jewelers in the amount of $143,500. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
