<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />INFILL NEW CONSTRUCTION LOAN ~- 1060 WEST THIRD-STREET ~-CIVIC'CENTER-BARRIO- <br />HOUSING-CORPORATION <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Hart, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and <br />carried unanimously (5:0) that the Community Redevelopment Agency approve the <br />funding of an Infill New Construction Loan to Civic Center Barrio Housing <br />Corporation in an amount not to exceed $50,000 to facilitate the development <br />of six residential rental units at 1060 West Third Street. <br /> <br />500'NORTH MAIN-STREET-SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS ~'PROJECT-7469 <br /> <br />Agency Member Acosta requested that the record reflect that he would have <br />voted against the award of the contract if legal issues were not involved. <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Hart, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and <br />carried unanimously (5:0) that the Community Redevelopment Agency award the <br />contract to Hauschild Construction, Inc., the lowest responsive bidder, in the <br />amount of $289,155 for the 500 North Main Street sidewalk improvements. <br /> <br />AS 265 - (CHAPTER 1135, STATUTES OF 1985) -RRSIDENTIAL SET~/ŒIDE - COMPLIANCE - <br />FIND"ING <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Hart, seconded by Agency Member May and carried <br />unanimously (5:0) that the Community Redevelopment Agency adopt Resolution <br />No. 88-12 - a resolution finding that the Agency is exempt from the <br />requirement of appropriating 20 percent of the tax increment in the Central <br />City project Area for low- and moderate-income housing because a substantial <br />effort to meet these housing needs is being made through a combination of <br />Community Development Block Grant funds and the tax increment revenues from <br />the other four project areas. <br /> <br />AGENCY SECRETARY REPORT <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Hart, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and <br />carried unanimously (5:0) that the Community Redevelopment Agency instruct the <br />Agency Secretary to enter into the Minutes: Pursuant to Government Code <br />Section 54954.2, the June 21, 1988 Community Redevelopment Agency Agenda was <br />posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 1 p.m. <br />on June 15, 1988. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESS"ION <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned to Closed Session in Room 147 of the Council Chambers at <br />5:32 p.m. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council read the following: The Legal Counsel requests that <br />the Redevelopment Agency recess to closed session, pursuant to ~overriment Code <br />Section 54956.9(A) to confer with its attorney regarding pending litigation <br />which has been initiated formally, and to which the Redevelopment Agency is a <br />party.
