Lay, Asst. city Attorney <br />June Catalano, Executive Director/Planning & Building Agency <br />David Grosse, Executive Director/Public Works Agency <br />Michael Betts, Project Coordinator <br />Joyce Amerson, Project Coordinator <br />Jeffry Rice, Associate Planner <br />Vera Harrison, Stenographer <br /> <br />BRISTOL STREET WIDENING PLAN <br /> <br />City Manager David Ream introduced David Grosse, Executive <br />Director of the Public Works Agency, who presented information <br />regarding the history of the widening project, project <br />alternatives, and the current status of the EIS. <br /> <br />Cynthia Nelson, Executive Director/Community Development, <br />discussed the goal of the Redevelopment Corridor Project; and <br />how the Bristol Street Widening, Redevelopment, and the Design <br />Plan tie right of way and land use together. She stated that <br />the Widening Project is the number one public improvement to be <br />undertaken in the project area. Ms. Nelson also offered <br />information regarding the financing mechanism for the street <br />widening as well as the plan to maximize properties leftover <br />after the widening. She stated that the original schedule for <br />adoption of the Redevelopment Plan was aggressive, however, it <br />became evident that the Plan and the widening should track one <br />another. It was decided that the redevelopment process should <br />not come before a street widening plan was recommended. <br />
