<br />,e. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Chairman Young adjourned the meeting to Executive Session at <br />6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />The following statement was read: <br /> <br />The Legal Counsel requests that the Redevelopment Agency recess <br />to closed session, pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54956.9(A) to confer with its attorney regarding pending <br />litigation which has been initiated formally, and to which the <br />Redevelopment Agency is a party. The title of the litigation is: <br /> <br />Community Redevelopment Aqency v. Southerland <br /> <br />REPORT FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />The Agency Members reconvened at 6:25 p.m. <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Hart, seconded by Agency Member <br />Acosta and carried unanimously (6:0) to authorize settlement as <br />to land and improvements for $405,000, and as to fixtures and <br />equipment for $16,234, plus interest as authorized by law. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />In response to a question from the public regarding the status <br />of current development on Bristol at this time, Mr. Ream stated <br />that development can proceed: however, he suggested that <br />developers should remain in communication with city staff <br />regarding the progress of the Bristol Street Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment <br />Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />~q~ <br />Cynthi J.
