MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 3, 1980 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. by Mayor James E. Ward in <br />the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Council members present <br />were Gordon Bricken, Daniel E. Griset (2:15 p.m.), R. W. Luxembourger, <br />J. Ogden Markel, A1 fred C. Serrato, Harry K. Yamamoto, and Mayor Ward. <br />Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton, City Attorney Keith L. <br />Gow, and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag, the <br />Invocation was given by <br />Mayor Ward. <br /> <br />RECESS - HOUSING AUTHORITY At 2:02 p.m. Council recessed <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION to the regular meeting of the <br />CITY COUNCIL - RECONVENED Housing Authority. Council <br /> reconvened at 2:20 p.m. and <br />immediately recessed to Executive Session to discuss personnal matters. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was reconvened at 3:15 p.m. with <br />all members present. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Items 1, 8B, 8D, and 13A were <br />ITEMS REMOVED & removed from the Consent <br />DISSENTING VOTES Calendar by Markel; Item 5G <br /> by Yamamoto; Items 2B and 12A <br />by Luxembourger; Items 3B and 3C by Bricken; and Item 12C by Serrato.
