<br />by Bricken, seconded by Serrato, to 1) approve execution by Mayor and
<br />Clerk of Supplement No. 9 to agreement between City and State (#07-5063)
<br />for increased participation in PROJECT 2037 - Upgrading City-wide Sign-
<br />ing and Marking; 2) direct staff to forward the executed copies to the
<br />State for their formal approval; and 3) approve appropriation adjustment
<br />transferring $58,230 of Federal funds to an operating account for the
<br />project.

<br />MOTION by Bricken, seconded by Serrato, to amend the language of the
<br />ballot measure "Number of Wards", to amend Section lOl.1 and delete
<br />Section 101.3 of the Charter so that the number of wards in the City
<br />shall not be mere than seven, regardless of population increases.

<br />of the ward from which he seeks election at the time of his nomination.

<br />tor, Museum Director, Director of Public Works, Director of Building Safety,
<br />Director of Planning, Equipment Maintenance Superintendent, and Executive
<br />Director - Redevelopment Agency in the "excepted service" division of the
<br />civil service.
