Main, <br />MAIN STREET CORRIDOR REPORT requested that Council defer <br />SET FOR 5-19 & 7-7-80 the hearing on the Main Street <br /> Corridor Report for 90-120 days <br />to allow area merchants opportunity to review the report; in particular, <br />that portion pertaining to elimination of parking on Main Street. The <br />Director of Public Works indicated a critical time factor existed relative <br />to the Buffalo On-ramp project. (Agenda Item 18B) <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Serrato, to set the Main Street <br />Corridor Report excluding the Buffalo On-ramp project for public hearing on <br />July 7, 1980, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None CA 29 <br />None CA 78.13 <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Serrato, to set the matter <br />pertaining to the Buffalo On-ramp project for public hearing on Ma~v 19, <br />1980, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None CA 29.10 <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER - PUBLIC HEARING The Mayor announced that this was <br />GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS the time and place for the public <br />SOLAR WINDOW SCREENS - APPROVED hearing to consider the proposed <br /> budget in the amount of $80,000 <br />of General Revenue Sharing Funds for installation of solar window screens <br />on the south side of City Hall. <br /> <br />The staff report and recommendations were presented by the Assistant City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br /> <br />There were no speakers in favor of or in opposition to the proposal. The <br />Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Following discussion, MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Serrato, <br />to: <br /> 1) Approve proposed budget of $80,000 General Revenue Sharing <br /> Funds for Solar Window Screens on south side of City Hall; CA 140.20 <br /> and CA 77 <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Approve plans and specifications and authorize advertise- <br />ment for bids for installation of solar window screens on <br />south side of City Hall. <br /> <br />CA 89 <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor called for requests from the public for items to be heard by Council <br />prior to Executive Session.
