<br />The Vice Mayor announced that

<br />for the public hearing of
<br />the Flight/Harper Neighbor-
<br />
<br />The Traffic Engineering Supervisor reported on the history of the neighbor-
<br />hood traffic and introduced James Kawamura, representing Berryman &
<br />Stephenson, Inc., who presented the consultant's report and recommendations.
<br />
<br />The Clerk reported there were no written communications.
<br />
<br />The following persons spoke in opposition to the consultant's recommenda-
<br />tions:

<br />Melvin Jones, 1115 South Birch
<br />
<br />There were no other speakers on the matter. The Vice Mayor closed the
<br />public hearing.

<br />Following Council discussion, MOTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by
<br />Luxembourger, to approve the consultant's recommendations in the Flight/
<br />Harper Neighborhood Traffic Study, as outlined in the report dated
<br />June 6, 1980, prepared by the Public Works Department.

<br />hired to review the entire Stadium complex, who presented their findings
<br />and recommendations for upgrading the Stadium's appearance and image.
<br />
<br />Following Council discussion, MOTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by
<br />Luxembourger, to receive and file the report dated June 6, 1980, prepared
<br />by the Recreation and Parks Department.
