The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br />Kam Yee, 10812 Harrogate, spoke in favor of the Minor Exception. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers. The Vice Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by Luxembourger, to approve and file <br />the Negative Declaration; and instruct the City Attorney to prepare a <br />resolution approving Minor Exception No. 80-6, affirming the decision of <br />the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato <br />Bricken, Yamamoto <br />Ward <br /> <br />CA 13.5 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - APPEAL NO. 415 The Vice Mayor announced that <br />M.E. 80-16 - 5110 W. WESll~INSTER this was the time and place for <br />DENIED reconsideration of Notice of <br /> Exemption and Appeal No. 415 <br />of the Zoning Administrator's denial of Minor Exception No. 80-16 to <br />allow on-sale beer and wine in a proposed market within a retail center, <br />located at 5110 W. Westminster. <br /> <br />The Senior Planner presented the staff report and recommendation. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br /> <br />Huong Ngo, 5110 W. Westminster, spoke in favor of the Appeal and Minor <br />Exception. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers. MacARTHUR BLVD. this was the time and place for <br />APPROVED public hearing of Negative <br /> Declaration and Conditional Use <br />Permit No. 80-9 to construct an off-premise bulletin sign at 201E. <br />MacArthur Boulevard in the C2 District. <br /> <br />The Senior Planner presented the staff report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications <br />other than the letter of protest acknowledged at the previous Council <br />meeting from The Robert P. Warmington Company. <br /> <br />Rob Verman, representing Foster & Kleiser, 1550 W. Washington, Los Angeles, <br />spoke in favor of the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in opposition to the Conditional Use Permit: <br /> <br />Mickey Madden, 2319 North Rosewood <br />Melvin Jones, 1115 South Birch <br /> <br />There were no other speakers.
