PUBLIC HEARING - WEED ABATEMENT <br />1980 SPRING PROGRAM <br />RES. 80-131 - ADOPTED <br /> <br />Program. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that this <br />was the time and place for the <br />public hearing of the Weed <br />Abatement Report - 1980 Spring <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works presented the staff report and recommendation. <br /> <br />The Secretary to the Clerk of the Council reported there were no written <br />communications. <br /> <br />There were no speakers on the matter. The Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Following discussion and a question-and-answer period, MOTION was made by <br />Luxembourger, seconded by Yamamoto, to adopt the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-131 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OVERRULING OBJECTIONS TO AND <br />CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />PERTAINING TO THE COSTS OF WEED, RUBBAGE AND GARBAGE <br />ABATEMENT; MAKING, CONFIRMING, AND LEVYING ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR SUCH COSTS; AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF TO BE FILED <br />WITH THE COUNTY AUDITOR, ASSESSOR AND TAX COLLECTOR. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None CA 11 <br /> <br />S.A. MOBILE HOME MEDIATION COMMITTEE George Olmstead, 1527 S. <br />UPDATE ORAL REPORT Standard #46, and Maida Young, <br />RECEIVED & FILED no address given, provided an <br /> update report on the activities <br />and accomplishments of the Santa Aha Mobile Home Mediation Committee. <br /> <br />Council expressed appreciation to the Committee for its work, and eXtended <br />an invitation to co~ before Council whenever the need arises. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Yamamoto, to receive and file the <br />report. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None CA 16 <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER - AGREEMENT In response to Council concerns <br />CIVIC CENTER BARRIO FAMILIES expressed earlier in the meeting <br />APPROVED regarding relationship of parties <br /> involved in the residential lot <br />leases, the City Manager reported that two agreements involved a Mother/ <br />daughter relationship, and the third involved two families - parents and <br />daughter/husband with children, and assured Council that an overcrowding <br />situation did not exist. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Griset, to approve the following <br />agreements and authorize their execution by Mayor and Clerk: <br /> <br />RESIDENTIAL LOT LEASES - BetWeen City and seven displaced <br />Civic Center Barrio families for lease of residential lots <br />in housing replacement program.
