An amount of $12,000 is provided for a six-month <br />period to provide for a full-time person executive director. <br /> <br />191 Other Personnel Services: Provides for staff assistance by <br />outside consultants for needed planning, engineering and citizen <br />participation, economic feasibility programs and publicity programs. <br />The Planning is estimated to be $10,000 and the economic feasibility <br />and publicity work is estimated to be $8,000. <br /> <br />Also provided for under this item is a contractual arrangement <br />under the Inter-governmental Personnel Act Title IV for the services <br />of a full-time professional to work with the City of Santa Ana <br />Community Redevelopment Agency. Under this arrangement, the city <br />would pay $8,500 in salary while the Federal Government would pay <br />$5,500 plus fringe benefits. We will in essence obtain the services <br />of a $14,000 Redevelopment Specialist for $8,500. <br /> <br />211 Communications: Provides for expenditures for telephone, tele- <br />graph, teletype and advertising. Included under these items are <br />funds for written information to be sent to all property owners <br />and tenants in the project area. The information will give an <br />up-to-date progress report on the activities of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency. <br /> <br />Item 221 Travel and Travel Transportation: Provides funds for field <br />trips to meet with the key staff personnel in successful redevelop- <br />ment agencies within the State of California. <br /> <br />Item 251 Other Aaencv Services: Provides for a $2,500 contract with the <br />State of California Department of Housing and Community Development <br />or other appropriate agency to assist in formulating recommendations <br />under housing and business relocation programs. <br /> <br />Also provided is $12,000 to provide for in-kind services from <br />City of Santa Ana such as engineering, planning, legal, building <br />services and other administrative services. <br /> <br />Item 281 M & R Machinerv and Equipment: This item reflects anticipated <br />costs for repair and maintenance of office equipment. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />g <br />C pt." <br />
