TECH. ADVISORY COMMITTEE MOTION was made by Griset, <br />ON HOUSING PRODUCTION seconded by Bricken, to continue <br />CONTINUED TO 11-17~80 action on the Technical Advisory <br /> Committee on Housing Production <br />Report dated October 28, 1980, prepared by the City Manager, to November 17, <br />1980. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />Luxembourger <br /> <br />CA 137 <br /> <br />LITIGATION ACTIONS By way of action out of the <br />CITY ATTORNEY AUTHORIZED afternoon Executive Session, <br /> MOTION was made by Griset, <br /> seconded by Ward, to authorize <br />the City Attorney to settle Woods vs. Leedy et al, Orange County Superior <br />Court, Case No. 27-59-35, in the amount of $10,000. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />Luxembourger <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by Bricken, to authorize the City <br />Attorney to file a civil suit against Sandoval and Taghizadeh for damages <br />to a City vehicle. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Brioken, Griset, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />Luxen~)ourger <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Markel, to authorize the City <br />Attorney to file a civil action against Charles Leimer to abate a <br />public nuisance at 410, 410 1/2, and 412 East Sixth Street. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />Luxe~6ourger <br /> <br />CA 139 <br /> <br />ORAL COMM - MARKEL Councilman Markel suggested that <br />VOLUMINOUS COUNCIL AGENDAS the City might further the cause <br />NO ACTION of conservation by taking some <br /> action with regard to the volumi- <br />nous council agendas.
