MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />November 17, 1980 <br /> <br />The meeting was convened at 4:41 p.m. by Mayor Ward in the City Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Council members present were Gordon <br />Bricken, Daniel E. Griset, R. W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel, Alfred <br />C. Serrato, Harry K. Yamamoto, and Mayor James E. Ward. City Manager A. <br />J. Wilson, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper, and Clerk of the Council <br />Janice C. Guy were also present. <br /> <br />INVOCATION The Pledge of Allegiance to <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE the Flag and Invocation given <br /> by Councilman Luxembourger <br /> were observed earlier during <br />the meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency. <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER <br /> <br />heard, and in response to those requests, <br />following four matters. <br /> <br />Due to the lateness of the hour <br />in convening the meeting, the <br />Mayor asked for requests from <br />the audience for items to be <br />the Council acted upon the <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />& CUP 80-15 - 1030 N CUSTER ST <br />APPROVED & FILED <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, <br />seconded by Serrato, to approve <br />and file the Negative Declaration <br />and Findings of Fact on CUP 80-15 <br />filed by Barker & Barker Plastering, <br />Inc., to allow open storage of plastering equipment at 1030 North Custer <br />Street in the R 2-X District. (Agenda Item 8E) <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, <br /> Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />CA ).3. 1 <br /> <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION & VA 80-35 Following clarification by the <br />2311 PULLMAN ST Planning Director that chemical <br />APPROVED & FILED storage on the premises was not <br /> apparently as hazardous as had <br />previously been supposed by the Planning Commission, MOTION was made by <br />Griset, seconded by Ward, to approve and file the Negative Declaration <br />and Findings of Fact on VA 80-35 filed by Gemini Industries, Inc., to allow <br />an existing installation of several storage and processing tanks and <br />associated equipment and the utilization of an additional existing build- <br />ing in the LM District, expanding the use permitted by VA 75-8, at 2311 <br />Pullman Street.
