RESOLUTION NO. 80-208 - A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING <br />REGULATIONS FOR CANDIDATES FOR ELECTIVE OFFICE, <br />PERTAINING TO MATERIALS SUBMITTED TO THE <br />ELECTORATE AND THE COSTS THEREOF FOR THE 1981 <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Establish December 15, 1980, as the final day <br />for the Clerk of the Council to accept measures <br />to be submitted to the voters at the March 3, <br />1981, election. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Establish December 26, 1980, as the final day for <br />submission of arguments for or against any City <br />measure; and <br /> <br />5) Authorize the City Attorney to prepare an impartial <br /> analysis of each proposed ballot measure. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, <br /> Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Ward, to instruct the Clerk of <br />the Council to continue to pursue having the City of Santa Ara conduct <br />the March 3, 1981 consolidated municipal election. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, <br /> Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />CA 68 <br /> <br />BID AWARD - SPEC 80-026 A3 & B1 <br />COMPUTER EQUIPMENT - POLICE <br />BID AWARDED <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Yamamoto, <br />seconded by Ward, to: <br /> <br />Reject the alternate bid from Tektronics, Inc., <br />as non-responsive. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Award the following on the basis of being the lowest <br />responsible and resposive bidders, for the respective <br />items, subject to availability of funding by LEAA: <br /> <br />A3-Color Graphic Terminals; TRM Systems, in the <br />total amount of $16,933.50 <br /> <br />BI-Graphic Plotter; Tektronix, Inc., in the total <br />amount of $4,898.26 <br /> <br />BI-Graphic Digitizer (large); Numonics Corp., <br />in the total amount of $4,187.00 <br /> <br />BI-Graphic Digitizer (small); Cal Comp., <br />in the total amount of $1,378.00 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />.3) Readvertize for bids for 2 Black and White Terminals <br /> and 1 Character Printer, as no bids were received. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, <br /> Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />CA 89 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />394 <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 17, 1980 <br /> <br /> <br />
